We have been doing a countdown of sorts and today that countdown ends. This is officially the end of June and when we wake up tomorrow we will officially begin the 2nd half of 2010. You ready?

Whether you have kicked ass the 1st half of the year or you made a complete mess of things, there is still more to be done. My definition of success is getting better and better everyday in every way. If this definition sounds about right to you then you like everyone else has some work to do for the rest of 2010 and beyond!

Change is the only constant in life and we are always changing for the better or changing for the worse. As you walk into July what changes for the better will be made? What goals will be realized? What dreams that you have put of will be started? Will you start that business this year? Are you going to lose that 30 lbs this year? Are you going to end that dead end relationship that is holding back this year? Are you going to get debt free this year? Are you going to step into your best self this year? The time and place to begin to make anything you want for 2010 happen is right here, right now!!! WE ARE THE CHANGE WE SEEK!!!!

YES WE CAN!!! YES WE WILL!!!

Is the person you see when you look in the mirror everyday the same person you envisioned yourself being growing up? For too many people out there the answer to this question is no. Too many people are walking though life with lost dreams and are not quite sure where those dreams went or how to get them back.

I believe wholeheartedly that those dreams still exist. Think about all the goals you once thought where possible for your life that have somehow fell to the wayside. They might need a little dusting off, followed by some love, focus and attention but they still exist and they are waiting for you to take them and make them realities. So what’s holding you back? One word….Habits.

The habits that we live on a day to day basis, the things we do and situations we handle the same exact way day in and day out. We must let go of the past if we hope to create a brighter future. There simply is no other way.

Do you want to change your ability to reach the dreams and goals you desire most? You must first change yourself!

Dreams are something we all must have.  Especially one that really defines who you are and where you are going in life.  When is the last time you really gave consideration to yours?  I don’t just mean as a passing thought, but when was the last time you sat down and asked yourself What do I want more then anything else in this world?  What is the driving force behind why I want this so bad?  What are all the things that need to happen between now and the day that my dream comes true?

These questions are some of the most important we can ask ourselves if we are to direct our lives and to avoid just wondering forward.  Take 30 minutes sometime in the next few days to brainstorm thorough answers to these questions.  You will find this to be time very well spent and if you keep building and acting on the plan you come up with no Dream will prove to be to big!

What are we without dreams?  A wondering generality that’s what.  A person with no purpose, no drive, no ambition, no direction.  What kind of life is that?  Not the kind of life I am trying to live.  I choose a life of big dreams and will most certainly reach many of them! What about you?
