Every right choice, every right action is going to fill us with the courage and determination that it takes to make other right choices and to take other right actions.

Proper Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance is an old British Army adage I try to apply in my life. Everything around us started with a dream. In order for those dreams to become reality they where also followed up with a plan.
How are you reading this message? Are you using Gmail? your Blackberry? maybe Facebook? Well all of these things where planned out in detail before you ever began to use them. Where are you reading this message? At work? Starbucks? on the Train? All of these where also planned out meticulously and that is the reason why they exist. Proper prior planning is needed for anything that is worthwhile in this world and anything that is worthwhile in your life.
So what plans do you have for your life? What plans do you have for this week? What plans do you have for today? What plans do you have for the next hour? A lot of questions I know and the reason is because it takes both long term and short term plans along with the discipline to follow through on those plans to live up to your innate abilities.
Make plans to succeed, apply determination to those plans and the things you plan for will be yours!!!

Far to many people allow their current circumstance to dictate what the future of their lives will be like. One thing I have learned time and time again is that the past doesn’t equal the future.
Cars where not a reality, they where the dream of Henry Ford. We all now know cars are real. Airplanes where not reality, they where the dream of the Wright Bros. I just booked a flight to Toronto the other day so clearly that dream became real. I don’t know about you but a Black President was certainly not a reality I ever thought I’d live to see. We all know what happened January 20th 2009.
I could go on and on. Bottom line is Tupac has it very right, dreams are for real. Everything we do and everything we have started out as someone’s dream. It just took special people to usher these dreams from inside their minds to the “real world”. That same special ability lives inside of you. DREAM COME TRUE WHEN YOU WAKE UP AND MAKE THEM HAPPEN!!!

We are each creative beings who are responsible for our experience in life. That is we have the ability to chose a creative response to the the things that hold us back. The things we can’t do today are simply the things we haven’t done. With a big enough reason behind you, you can do anything! We can each figure out the specifics that will advance us toward our desires and one of the best places to start is to shrink that I can’t list.

If you haven’t already noticed I’m simply fascinated with spreading ideas and strategies about success. His mustache might have been crazy but the man was a genius and he hit on one of the fundamentals of success with this quote.
No matter what you want in this world, you must start from the beginning to get it. If you want to start your own business its very very unlikely you will wake up tomorrow and be a wealthy successful entrepreneur. You can however wake up with an idea to stand on. Then you can you can start walking by planning out what a successful business means to you. You can follow that up with a run by taking massive action on your plan. Before you know it you will be climbing the ladder of success and flying toward your dreams!
The beginning is NOW! What will you do this week to move you closer to the level of success that is meant for you?

So July is coming to a close and once again it’s time to ask yourself how did the month treat you? Or better yet, how did you treat the month? If others where watching your life would they be inspired & motivated by the example you set?
I hope the answers to those questions are ones you like. And whether you like your answers or you don’t there is good news for you. August is a another month and with it the opportunity to hit the reset button presents itself again. Reflect on the good and bad of July and paint a picture in your mind of a beautiful August.
