September 1st ladies and gents! With a brand new month comes brand new opportunity! What opportunities are you committed to working on this month?

Many time we decide there is something new we want to add into our life; Something else we want to be, have or do. This is a great thing as adding things of value to our lives is the definition of growth. What we must realize is that we still have the same finite amount of time we had prior to our decision to add that new idea, habit or goal into our lives. What this means is the only way we can make the addition is to find another place to make a subtraction so that we create the space needed for the new desire.

What are you willing to leave behind in order to add something new into your life? What will you give up or do less of to become the best you you can be?

The simple choice is to focus on what you want to create or focus on what has always been. Whichever you focus on will be your experience. If your thoughts continue to be trapped in the past, and they center around all the things you have done wrong and all the things that you don’t have then you will get more of those things. Conversely if you focus your attention on your dreams, you will continue to move closer and closer to them. Focusing on your dreams will bring about the conditions, opportunities, people and situations that you will need to make those dreams into reality.

The choice is clear and the difference in results you can expect is stark. Choose wisely and live the life you have

If you haven’t already noticed I’m simply fascinated with spreading ideas and strategies about success. His mustache might have been crazy but the man was a genius and he hit on one of the fundamentals of success with this quote.

No matter what you want in this world, you must start from the beginning to get it. If you want to start your own business its very very unlikely you will wake up tomorrow and be a wealthy successful entrepreneur. You can however wake up with an idea to stand on. Then you can you can start walking by planning out what a successful business means to you. You can follow that up with a run by taking massive action on your plan. Before you know it you will be climbing the ladder of success and flying toward your dreams!

Sarah Delany lived to be 110 years old. She was 107 when she said this and it is one of the many quotes she shared that we can all learn a lot from. In life we can’t always do something about tomorrow. In life we can’t always do something about the rest of today. What we can always do is focus in on what the best thing we can do right now is!
